The artistic manager and chief conductor of the orchestra is Serhiy Burko, gifted musician whose conductor style is bright, impressive and at the same time it is noble and subtle. His manual technique is rich and various. His interpretations of classical, modern and especially romantic music are remarkable for intellect and lyric.
Serhiy Burko graduated from the Lviv Conservatoire as a violinist and a conductor. He took part at Master-classes in Freiburg /Germany/ too. He performed in many European countries and USA. On Saturday, March 22, 1997 in Teodor Egel Concert Hall /Freiburg/ with the program of musical compositions of M. Berezovsky, M.Skoryk, D.Bortniansky, M.Kolessa, Ye.Stankovylcli, Yu.Laniuk the "Lviv Virtuosos" orchestra conducted by Serhiy Burko performed. The concert was held within the framework of creative meetings between the culture institutions of partner - towns Lviv(Ukraine) and Freiburg (Germany). The proposed program with musical compositions of the Ukrainian composers exclusively became a remarkable event for musical world. The performance under Serhiy Burko drew attention to a high technical and generally musical skill. For the large audience the concert became not only the means of expansions of their culture world view but first of all it became an unforgettable artistic pleasure, and the evidence of it being the tempestuous and sincere applause."
